Q1: what's the difference between industrial infrared thermometer and medical infrared thermometer?

Portable infrared thermometer is commonly known as infrared gun. Whether it is industrial or medical, their principle is the same. They measure the temperature value of the object surface. The infrared temperature measuring gun can be used as a screening, and can not be used as a diagnostic basis for doctors.

Medical infrared temperature gun: only focus on the measurement of human body temperature, ordinary medical infrared temperature gun can not adjust the emissivity, the general operating temperature is room temperature, and the measurement function can not be realized in low temperature environment. The measurement range is between 36 ℃ and 37 ℃, in which the medical infrared temperature gun has a good measurement accuracy (less than 1 ℃).

Industrial infrared temperature gun: it has a wide range of applications and good adaptability to ambient temperature. Generally, the operating temperature is between - 20 ℃ and 50 ℃ or even more. Q2: can industrial infrared thermometer be used to measure temperature?

Industrial thermometers are not recommended to measure human body temperature, but can do preliminary auxiliary screening. It can be used to measure body surface temperature, such as forehead and wrist temperature.

Q3: why is the value measured by the industrial infrared thermometer lower than the temperature (28 ℃ to 34 ℃)?
